2013 Rhody Ramble Kicks Off During April Vacation

Discover Colonial Newport in Costume Tour

The Rhody Ramble is kicking off its 2013 season with activities during April school vacation week (April 13-21). Launched in 2012 as a summer family adventure around Rhode Island, the Rhody Ramble has expanded to include a nearly year-round calendar of events for children and families.

In 2013, events and tours are offered at 25 member properties of the Historic Sites Coalition of Rhode Island, which are located throughout the state. Events include outdoor festivals, concerts, re-enactments, hands-on activities, scavenger hunts and walking tours. Explore Rhode Island’s diverse history and landscape – including oceanfront mansions, farms, an observatory, a lighthouse and even a historic jail!
